Base Year Revisions for Submittal to Board
HHW Report Form 303/DLR Implementations

Preparation of Annual Report as required by
Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle)

· Annual Report - due annually in August

· SWS can coordinate with the CalRecycle) as required to facilitate the Approval of the Annual Report

Preparation of Household Hazardous Waste Collection Information

· Form 303 due 1st Monday of October

Preparation of Base Year Revision/Generation Study

· Preparation of Base Year Modification Request Certification

· Preparation of Solid Waste Generation Study

· Preparation of Reporting Year Disposal Modification Form (RYDMF)
Allocates waste disposal to proper jurisdiction of origin
*** Eliminate improperly recorded waste disposal ***

· Staff will work with Board as required

· Staff will represent Jurisdiction if required at Board meetings in Sacramento

Innovative Idea ! ! !
Implementation of DLR (Designated Load Recycling)

· As jurisdictions strive to meet the 50% diversion goal mandated by the State, diversion from commercial and
multifamily units may have the answer.

· SWS, Inc. will design a DLR

· Designated Load Recycling Plan for the jurisdiction.

· DLR involves choosing trash loads with 25% or less residuals (trash)and have them sent directly for recycling.
