Solid Waste Solutions is a multifaceted consulting firm, not working on "Trashy Films", but trash and films. SWS has been coordinating with cities in waste management, as well as providing film permitting services since 1999.
Filming
SWS can provide cities with a one-stop film office that abides by state regulations and local ones for those particular cities. We find it our responsibility for production companies to obtain applications with ease while keeping the residents informed and safe. We have maintained one-stop offices in Malibu, and Agoura Hills.
Solid Waste Management
SWS can aid cities in the design and implementation of recycling programs. Often this is per the Cal Recycle Laws being implemented at that period but can extend into other areas as well. SWS can also facilitate the preparation and submittal of the Cal Recycle annual reports, which are due August 1st annually. The team is also equipped to submit grant reporting, which is due August 15th.
Kimberly Collins Nilsson, the current CEO and one of the founders of Solid Waste Solutions, founded the business in 1999. With a degree in engineering, she has built a consulting firm with a small team of employees that services cities throughout Southern California. Her background in Civil Engineering created an excellent platform for her areas of expertise.
